The 2010 Swedish Championship will be kicking of Saturday morning in Stockholm, at the Matrix LAN center.
Eight teams will be on site in Stockholm the coming two days, trying to grab the Swedish Championship of 2010. With the title comes the spot for ESWC 2010, which was announced earlier this week. Leading forces in Sweden, fnatic and SK, are both absent from the event, which should promise us some great action.
It will all kick off at 10:00CET with Group A playing the first round of matches. Second round will be played at 11:30CET, while third and last will be played at 13:00CET. Group B will be entering the tournament at 15:00CET, with second and third round scheduled for 16:30CET and 18:00CET.
On paper, there are four favorites to watch this weekend. MYM will be attending the event with Frej "kHRYSTAL" Sjöström instead of Jimmy "Jumpy" Berndtsson. Playzone.se go to Stockholm with a smoking-fresh 16-2 victory against mTw, H2k Gaming on the lookout to improve their show from The Gathering and the first matches in ESL Pro Series Nordic. Last but not least, we have Begrip, who did not turn heads when attending Copenhagen Games.
Could Sjöström guide MYM to the 2010 Swedish Championship?
Make sure to drop by our coverage section during the entire weekend and tune in tomorrow starting at 10:00CET, when the first set of matches kick off. You will as always, be able to follow the entire tournament right here on HLTV.org.
